We buy. Not “maybe, send a photo and we'll see” — properly, against a documented grade ladder, with a price quoted before you post or drop in. Shelf-credit pays 25 % over cash because we'd rather keep you on the shelf.
The grade ladder · Camden bench standard
How we grade what you bring in.
Six grades. The grade is named on every quote so you can argue with it. We use the same ladder for intake (what we pay) and for listing (what we sell), so there's no spread games on which end of the bench you're stood at.
NM — opened, perfect
Opened but un-played, manual flat, disc / cart un-touched outside the hub clip. 60 % of active sell-price, cash. 75 %, shelf-credit.
G — bench-tested complete
All bits present (disc + manual + sleeve / cart + insert), light shelf wear. 45 % cash / 58 % shelf-credit. 90 % of our intake lands here.
U — disc/cart only
No manual or no sleeve, disc readable, cart cleanable. 22 % cash / 30 % shelf-credit. Usually goes onto the loose-disc shelf in the lockup.
P — bench-donor
Disc unreadable, cart non-saving, console with PSU rot. We buy for the parts cupboard — flat £5–£15 depending on what's salvageable. Honest about it.
R — we don't take
Water damage, smoke saturation past the chassis, missing PSU on consoles. We'll quote zero and tell you why — never bin without notice.

Whichever route you pick, the quote happens before money or stock moves. We don't operate a “sight unseen” bid.
Walk into the lockup
Tue–Sat Tue–Sat 11–19, Sun 12–17. Bring the box; we grade it on the photo bench while you're stood there. Cash via Revolut bank-transfer or paper, your call.

Post via Royal Mail
Email a photo first — we quote a price, then email a pre-paid Royal Mail Tracked 24 label. We grade on arrival; if the grade falls, we either re-quote or return free.

Book a collection
Larger collections (50+ items, full console rigs, estate clear-outs) — we drive to within the M25 free, further afield for a small fuel contribution. Quote happens at your kitchen table.
